练功十八法保健操

练习时间 (免费) :星期二及星期四 :晚上八点至九点半. 星期天早上十点三十分至十二点

地点:金文泰联络所天台

健身練功十八法保健操,依據「意可導氣,氣可導血」原理,使氣在體內順暢流動,促進血液循環以導出人體的自然治癒力,有病治病,無病則可強健體魄預防疾病,是各界公認改善體質、增加病原抵抗力的殊勝氣功法.

Lian Gong-18 Exercise aim to strengthen the muscles and the coordinate breathing promote intake of oxygen and accelerate the exhailation of carbon dioxide (toxic in our body). The exercises comprises of four unique routines adopted from some Chinese Martial Arts.

The practice sessions (free) are on every Tues/Thurs from 8pm to 9.30 pm and on Sundays from 10.30 am to 12 noon. Venue is Clementi CC roof-top

Senior Citizen Support Group


The Senior Citizen Support Group had organised many activities. This include singing performances at various grass-root functions, Healthy Life and Outdoor activities to promote health and social interactions among senior citizens living in Clementi.

Strength Training is one of the healthy life activities developed and promoted by People Association.

The activity is on alternate Sundays from 10am to 11 am at Clementi CC. Next activity is on 14 Jun 09

Reading Group History Tour




The tour traced the early history of Chinese in Singapore. It include the @Richmen Club at Kong Seah Street, Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Sun Yat Sen memorial Hall, Hwa Chong and NLB exhibition of Lee Kong Chian and Tan Kah Kee.

Clementi CC Mandarin Reading Group


Clementi CC Mandarin Reading Group joined the History Tour oragnised by National Library Board. The tour brought members to historic places showcasing the early Chinese History in Singapore such as the Chinese Chamber Of Commerce, Sun Yat Sen Memorial, Century Old Chinese Temple, Hwa Chong. The tour also introduced some of the prominent Chinese Leaders in the early 19th century.

Activities Organised By Senior Citizen Exe Committee


Clementi CC Senior Citizen Exe Committee is one of the most active sub-committees. It has organized a number of activities for senior citizen such as :

1. Ball games
2. Group singing
3. Folk dancing
4. Strength Training exercises
5. One-day local tours to various places
6. Reading group (mandarin and malay) and you are welcome to start one in English
7. Computer classes
8. Christmas and Chinese New Year Parties

There are two routines each with 18 exercises.
This is one of the exercise.

Joined us at Clementi CC every Sunday from 1030hrs to 1200hrs at the top level of the cc.

练功十八法的由来和发展

健身練功十八法,依據「意可導氣,氣可導血」原理,使氣在體內順暢流動,促進血液循環以導出人體的自然治癒力,有病治病,無病則可強健體魄預防疾病,是各界公認改善體質、增加病原抵抗力的殊勝氣功法.

练功十八法是开展医疗体育相合防治颈肩腰腿痛过程中, 庄元明中医师在发掘整理古代 "导引", 五禽戏", "八段锦" 等祖国医学及武术遗产, 继承近代著名伤科王子 "却病延年二十势" 的经验基础上, 通过多年临床实践, 不断总结提高, 逐步形成的一套自身锻炼防治颈肩腰腿痛的有效方法

Exercise For Senior Citizens

Having stiff joints at your shoulders, weak leg and always feel tiring.
Join Clementi Senior Citizens every for a specific execises that strengthen your muscles and joins every Sundays from 1030hrs to 1200hrs. We are at the to floor of Clementi CC.

The execises comprises of six routines. Four routines are variance of Tai Chi and Chi Gong and two aerobic types rotine.

The execises are accompanied with music.

Our members will be there to couch you on the routines.

Besides execises, we also share tips on health related to ageing.
Our groups also organise outings such as walk at Henderson Wave Bridge and Hort Park
